The event "Information Society Technologies in the Sixth Framework Programme" is organised by Ideal-is t, an EU funded project, set up in 1996, its members being IST National Contact Points (NCPs) or organisations working on behalf of NCPs, from all EU member states and associated countries, totally 32 countries. ideal-ist project aims at reducing the barriers faced by organisations wishing to participate in the IST programme of the European Union.
