The "Software technologies and Distributed Systems" unit of Directorate-General Information Society of the European Commission is organising an Information Day on the 2nd Call of the IST Priority of the 6th Framework Programme (2002-2006). This event will focus on the Strategic Objective of the 2003/04 IST Workprogramme "Open Development Platforms for Software and Services" and aims in particular to further inform participants of Associated Candidate Countries (ACC) on possibilities of participating in IST and to bring them in contact with EU participants in the field.

The Information Day will take place on 2nd April 2003, at Kende u. 13-17, Budapest, Hungary and is jointly organised by the European Commission and MTA SZTAKI (the Computer and Automation Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences).

The room facilities kindly provided by MTA SZTAKI provide a natural constraint to the number of participants. Therefore, early registration is strongly recommended.
